RIDERS OF ROHAN™ Churchwarden Smoking Pipe
“Their horses were of great stature, strong and clean-limbed; their grey coats glistened, their long tails flowed in the wind, their manes were braided on their proud necks. The Men that rode them matched them well… In their hands were tall spears of ash, painted shields were slung at their backs, long swords were at their belts, their burnished shirts of mail hung down upon their knees. ….The host had almost passed when suddenly Aragorn stood up, and called in a loud voice:
‘What news from the North, Riders of Rohan?’”
Descendants of Northmen, the Riders of Rohan were the loyal horsemen of that kingdom and allies to their neighbors of Gondor. The Rohirrim were of noble character, upholding their oath to stand with their allies to any end. These brave soldiers rode into battle, even in the face of an uncertain outcome, unwavering in their resolve to do what needed to be done; they played a crucial part in saving Gondor and Minas Tirith from Sauron's amassing host.
The Riders Of Rohan Pipe is a mortise-and-tenon churchwarden-style pipe with an embellished aluminum stem inspired by the twilight dew that glitters on the plains of the Riddermark. The Dublin-style bowl is short and thick for a hearty toke after a long day's ride; pack it into your saddlebags for journeys from Isen to Anduin. The side is engraved with a trinity knot with emerging horse heads in continuity. Collectible and functional, this pipe comes with a poking & tamping tool, bowl screens, & pipe cleaners.
