I was the herald of Gil-galad and marched with his host. I was at the Battle of Dagorlad before the Black Gate of Mordor... I was upon the battle-field of Orodruin; and I saw the downfall of Sauron, but also the death of my king, and of Elendil, who fell, and Narsil broke beneath him. But Isildur cut the Ring from the hand of Sauron and took it for his own.

- J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

DESCRIPTION

At the end of the Second Age, the War of the Last Alliance was waged for seven long years. Isildur, son of Elendil and ruler of Gondor, took up his father's fallen blade to cleave the One Ring from Sauron's hand and disperse his dark spirit. Yet in the glowing twilight of victory, Isildur chose to claim the Ring as his own instead of destroying it in the fires of Mount Doom. His tragic greed proved to be his undoing, for the Ring has only one master, and he does not share power.

The Isildur Pipe Stand has an elongated design to accommodate lengthier pipe styles over 7 inches. Collectible and functional, this pipe stand is made from acacia wood and engraved with the famed sword Narsil and the One Ring.
